Marine Hotel - Paignton

Couldn't recommend more for a mini-vacation

Spacious room, good meal, well-placed location, our room was large and warm with plenty of wardrobe space, while breakfast offered a wide selection at a reasonable price, and the hotel's perfect position allowed easy access to the promenade and...  

Enjoyed our room that was kept very clean and available with a good breakfast and the bar plus extra milk. Everything was very good, and the breakfast was comprehensive as with main meal.

Spotless units with a good breakfast as well as twin beds, and the staff were kind. Really enjoyed the convenient decor!

great location but lacking internet

The bar area impressed with ample seating creating a cute atmosphere. The restaurant area smelled lovely with a full vibe suggesting good dining options.

The lack of internet in the rooms was a downside.

The location was second to none.

I appreciated the entertainment provided each evening with a good mix of music and humour, made everyone enjoy themselves. I also found it easy to relax in my room with a nice view and comfortable seating for enjoying a cuppa. The staff were cute, even...  

The sea view from my room was lush, and they really catered to milder diets, even sorting gluten-free options! Breakfast was on point, even if it was a bit hectic. Plus, there's a cool bar that feels just right for a cheeky...  

The location was really good, right by the beach, and the staff exceeded my expectations, going out of their way to accommodate my gluten-free diet. The room had a fine sea view.

room lacked extra teabags.

Nice place with free parking, a cozy bar, and 24-hour reception. The staff once helped me find car service, which I remember fondly. I'm returning for my next holiday!

The lounge and conservatory provide a cozy spot to unwind, especially with views of the sea. The room had a generous walk-in shower.

The overall decor feels dated, which might not appeal to everyone's taste. In-room amenities could use some attention, as the bathroom door handle was broken and cleanliness levels varied. For instance, dirt was noted around the edge of the bath. The sound insulation isn't the best, especially when you're hearing every footstep overhead from the dining room-a real disruption during the night.

The staff were sooo friendly and helpful. The room was nice n warm, shower water was super hot! Location was really close to the beach and havin a view was amazin. Breakfast was served by lovely staff...  

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food was commendable with generous portions. The room was somewhat dated, and being near the ground floor resulted in early morning noise. It was a decent stay for the price, perfect for exploring the area.

Really loved the friendly staff who made our stay so pleasant! The location was perfect, so close to the beach! Only downside was the slow bar service during peak hours. 🥳

can recommend for a date night

Clean room, comfortable bed, with a lovely view of the esplanade and friendly staff who made our stay enjoyable with their excellent service and hot, well-presented meals in the restaurant.

No negatives from this place.
